We combined learning letter sounds with baking today!  One fantastic parent made us cookie letters with biscuits to stick them on to.  We looked at the letter sounds and then made a biscuit with our name on it.  They were yummy too!

Our teacher was very proud of us today as we all tried some new food that we have never tasted before.  We had broccoli, capsicum, mango, pawpaw, pineapple, persimmons,  carrots, hummus and pretzels and had to record whether we found them 'yum' or 'yuk'.

Friday 15th June 2012
We enjoyed Discovery Time this morning.  Today we made 3D dinosaurs and had a great time with the dress-ups and making houses and tents from sheets and chairs.  After morning tea we did great reading with our buddies from the Ruru Room and we had fun at Junior Singing with the Tuatara Room.
