17th - 21st September 2012

We have 3 new students who have joined our class over the last three weeks.  Welcome to Makayla, McKenna and Amy.  
This week was the last week of MoveMprove.  We have really enjoyed MoveMprove over the last 8 weeks.  We have been improving our balance, co-ordination and agility skills.  We also learnt some new games to play with the parachute.  
On Thursday we had the ipads in our room.  Our teacher was very impressed with how we used them and how well we shared them with our partners.  We learnt 3 new literacy games and then we had a play to discover new games and learn how to use them properly.  

27 August - 31 August 2012

During Discovery Time this week Renee's Nana came in and did cake decorating with us.  We had fun icing the cupcakes then decorating them with jelly beans and sprinkles.  
On Friday afternoon we went over to the hall to meet Amy Burrell who is an author and illustrator, who use to go to Plateau School!  She read us her book 'Catch that Fly!' and drew some portraits of a couple of students.  
The letters we have been learning this week are M and R.  We made 'monster masks' and read rooster poems!
