Hedgehog Fun in Pukeko

This week we had so much fun making fruit kebab Hedgehogs.

Some of us read the book Hedgehog Fun and we decided it would be something we could all do.

So first we all read the story, then we made our own hedgehogs, did some writing and then ate our kebabs.YUM

I made a hedgehog. It is not a real hedgehog. It has lots of marshmallows on a skewer. You have to get an orange and cloves. I can't wait to eat my hedgehog. By William

First I need some pineapple and some marshmallows. I pushed them on the skewer. I put it on the hedgehog. It was fun!  It will taste yummy!    By Isla

If you want to make a hedgehog the first things you need are an orange and a knife and a skewer. You need grapes and marshmallows and pineapple to go on it. I can't wait to eat!!

Hedgehog Fun. Today I made a fruit hedgehog to eat. First I got the skewer with my name on it. Then I pushed on a purple grape on the skewer. I got one white marshmallow and put it on the skewer. After our time at Orongomai we had such a lot of fun at Maidstone Max!

Esther......."I'm looking for something to play on"

James...."I'm going on the slide, it feels like running down a big hill!"

Shelby...."I'm going to climb up the gren hill"

Emma....."Come on Shelby, let's go!"

We all had fun climbing the huge, humongous spider web!!

Dallas...."I like climbing the hill, I get to climb up and I bet William".

William.... " I feel like flying!"

Ariella...."We're playing hide and seek. Where is Abby."

Emma...." I was coming down the hill to go to the swing"

Cole..." I'm running back to my partners on the flying fox".

Petra.... " I was looking for someone to play with on the slide".

Izzy.... I'm about to slide down through the tunnel".

Jordan..." I was looking for somewhere to play and I found the slide".

Izzy back up for another slide.

Jack... I 'm climbing the mountain and then I'll run down!"

Hayden ready to go back to school.

Elliot..."Brennan and me and Cole are sitting together.

Rohan...."I was sitting with James and Callum".

Callum....'We 're just about to leave the playground".

James...I had a fun time on the spiny thing".

Autumn...." I got Annabelle's hat when it fell down by our feet".

Annabelle.... " I played on the swing, now we're just about to leave".

Tora.... "We've left the playground to go back to school on the bus".

Isla... "The seats on the bus were soft!"

Kody...."I climbed to the tippy top of the spiders web".

             "The bus driver was kind and waited so we could play,"

Max..." I was on the spider web and I got stuck!"
