Library Festival Parade

On Friday we had our parade. Pukeko room were dressed up as fisher people. Some of our grandparents came to.
We made our fish with pastels on one side and colourful paper scales on the other.

We had so much fun today.
We are good at catching fish. Guess what. Some of us are even having fish and chips for lunch! Yum, yum!
Thank you for looking at our photos and reading our blog. We hope you enjoyed our work.

Cricket training

This week on Thursday we were very lucky to have a Cricket skills session with Matt and Mitch from the Cricket Academy. We learnt how to run with a cricket bat and to slide it on the ground as we got to  the wickets. We also learnt how to get low and to scoop the ball with both hands off the ground.Throwing and catching takes concentration!
It was a very good session and we learnt lots! Thanks Matt and Mitch.

Another amazing session in our library.

This week our library was transformed into a science laboratory. As we entered we were met by "Scientist Nadine". She challenged us to think scientifically and take part in some simple experiments.
Science is exciting and interesting. Thanks Mrs Davidson!
