Life Ed bus and Harold

During the final week of term one the Life Ed bus was at school. We had two learning sessions. Our learning focus was helping us to think of ways to show kindness to others. When we say or act kindly then we help to fill the other person's bucket so that they feel good.

We had lots of fun in the bus. We can practise being bucket fillers at home over the holidays!

Week 10 Term1

This week with Daylight Saving ending we've noticed a definite change with the mornings feeling much cooler!

Thursday we had our swimming sports which was an opportunity to show what we can do in the pool. Thanks to all our whanau who came to support us. There are some photos on the school Facebook page.

Our letter of the week has been Rr. So we made rockets!

We've also been exploring shapes in maths and here are some of our patterns.

Next week is our last for this term. We have our fun run on Monday afternoon and the Life Education bus is coming to school. This will also be our last week of swimming until the end of the year.
