Welcome back to the last term of this year. Another busy week in Pukeko. We have been investigating Fire Safety and had a visit from the Firefighters. If the smoke alarm beeps we know to Get down, get low, get out fast! Most of us have a plan with our families and a safe meeting place to go to once we get out of the house. We are Firewise!
Thursday was the Big Shakeout day when we practised our earthquake drill. We know to Drop, Cover and Hold.
Every third Thursday we visit the Mobile Library bus where we can choose new books and usually listen to a story.
Friday is Discovery Day and this week Aurora's pet lamb Fred came for a visit. He is 5 weeks old, black, soft and playful! He drinks his bottle of milk very fast. He also wears nappies when he is visiting!!
Looks like a great first week of term :)
